Newcastle ONLY purpose built private OUTDOOR Gym.
A little gem smack bang in the middle of Jesmond, ideally located just off of Osborne Road in the grounds of the Northumberland Club. This is our static BaseCamp location that we work from and run static classes daily. The set up allows us to do something a little different to what we do at our satellite outdoor bootcamps in public parks.
The added benefits of showers and café means we can train, then shower and also eat in a social way with friends and family.
As you enter the car park off of North Jesmond Avenue you will see our BaseCamp located to the left of the main car park.
Down Stream of the main Newcastle Quayside is situated the Cycle Hub, a great location for everything biking, but with free city centre parking and ample space to train we be foolish not to meet here. Our only real “Urban” location we will look to offer a bootcamp with a difference, utilising the local area with many steps and step banks to be explored.
We will meet in the main carpark as close to the Hub as possible on the path adjacent to the river.
Train in Newcastle’s historic and beautiful Jesmond Dene, characterised by it’s hills, winding paths and grassy banks.
We meet on the road next to the Armstrong Bridge leading down the hill to Jesmond Dene.
Sitting adjacent to Newcastle Town Moor is Exhibition Park. The park features a mixed terrain, predominantly flat, and provides access onto the moor for some sessions.
COVID-19 Meeting Point
We have moved our meet point from the car park at the front of Exhibition Park , off of Claremount road, due to NHS parking restrictions imposed.
The new meet point, in the short term, will meet on Park Terrace. just to the right on the main entrance into Exhibition Park, next to the skate park .
Tucked between Newcastle United’s famous home-ground St. James’ Park and the RVI Hospital is Leazes Park, one of Newcastle’s finest Victorian parks.
We meet at the paid parking area that runs along the bottom of the park, closes to Barker & Stonehouse but on Leazes Crescent.
Meeting in Castle Farm carpark, Paddy Freemans affords us large open flat(ish) green space training area. Ideal for large group military style circuit training and the odd sprint, away from the maddening crowds.
Castle Farm car park is a paid car parking area, Monday to Friday and free at the weekends. At the times we use it parking is normally available but if busy we also use the car park closer to the lake and play area of the park, or park to the front of David Lloyd’s on Caste Farm Road.
